This week in building our own business, we talk about payment methods and site design. At this point, you should already have picked a hosting and site builder. They can be different websites or one that does both options.
Now, we need to get some design ideas. Go out and find different websites that show things you want to include and things you should not include on your website. A good website should be clean, easy to access, high-quality pictures, easy to read font and color, simple color choices, crisp looking, and easily understandable for the customers. A bad website is the opposite of this. It has blurry pictures, too many bright colors, difficult to work, poor quality, etc. Make sure you understand the difference between a good and bad website, so you can start designing your professional site. After your research, choose a few pages you would like to add to your own site. Things like contact, about, our works, our story, etc.
Our next step is figuring out a payment method and creating a button for that method. Every button and method is going to vary according to the needs of the company. Decide if you need a subscription, buy now, order, etc. What kind of payment method would be best for your type of button? You might consider cards, banks, PayPal, Venmo, etc. Remember there is no right answer, it just depends on your business needs.
It's time to get to work designing your website and figuring out your payments methods. Don't be afraid to try new things. Find the things that work best for your business needs!
